Giving Thanks!
Thank you. Thank you to all of you who have made our dreams come true opening up the new Santa Monica Arthur Murray Dance Center. Thanks to Robert and Christy Melgoza who gave us five wonderful years of training and preparation and guidance. Thanks to all our coaches, friends, mentors and leaders who guided us to today.
Thanks for all
the wonderful people who helped build out our space. I can’t lift a hammer, but I can hammer out a mean Waltz Routine, or type out a blog, or plan a Showcase Spectacular. But for the paint and nails, keep me away from it all. Our team was great (thank goodness!)
We are preparing for a wonderful period of growth in our new studio. We have almost 100 years of training between Gabriela Young, Joel Rieck, and myself. We have a beautiful facility and we are the in the best part of Santa Monica.
For the dancing, we set the highest standards in styling and technique, from Night Club social dancing all the way to Championship Competition. We are offering the best techniques in footwork, top line and frame, and the art of dance. We will provide every aspect of training to make any student a wonderful dancer.
For the fun part, wow, we have great themed parties, exciting group classes, and knock-em-dead private lessons. Our whole staff puts their hearts into making each lesson fun, exciting, and a life-changing experience. Our studio has a “Hum” as Mr. Jacques DeBeve says. You can just feel the positive vibes in the air.
Our studio opens up right on Broadway and we often leave our doors open. Many new visitors walk in and say how open and welcome the studio feels. Our goal is Hospitality and that is the way we will run our Dance Center and serve the City of Santa Monica.
What thanks do I have personally for the studio? Well, I will be able to live out the rest of my life dancing near my home. I figure I have another 25 to 30 years of dancing in me, and I have a lovely place to dance and grow and teach, all a mile from my home. I am so thankful for having my dream come true of living, worshiping, and dancing all in the Great City of Santa Monica. I love being a part of the pulse of the city.
How can you benefit from our new studio? First, come in for a lesson and experience the “vibe” and “hum” of excitement that is here. You will be dancing in a studio of vision and dreams come true! We will make sure you have a wonderful time and we’ll invite you to bring in your friends.
As for our Guest Program, we will become the #1 Guest referral studio in the World for Arthur Murray. Just give us a little bit of time and our happy students will be bringing in their friends and telling them about the amazing Arthur Murray Experience. Our programs begin with the basics all the way up to the Hobby Level of dancing.
During the Holidays, Give the Gift of Dancing! Have a friend or couple who you want to give a gift…Give them a Holiday Dance Gift Certificate and watch them dance through the holidays and Dance through 2014!
I have not been this excited about dancing in many years, and also I am full of faith and hope that we will prosper and grow into a beacon of light for the Arthur Murray Families of Studios.
