Keep your dreams alive using three easy ingredients:

            Have Determination

            Use Dedication

            Have a Good Attitude

Keep your dreams by taking one step at a time. Surround yourself with people you want to be like, with those who support you. To be a true dreamer, you must also help others realize their own dreams in their lives.

Have determination:

How am I determined at almost 69 years old? How does anyone do this at any age or life circumstance? My determination is this: I just get started. I get going. I take a shower, get dressed, go in and dance. And then the magic of dance takes over, and I am happy and healthy and ready to conquer the world. Take the first step and you’ll take 100 steps, and more.

Have Dedication:

I’ve lived a long-life using dedication. What is dedication in life? Well, for me it’s that I keep on with the mundane things of life. I’ve had may fantastic events and moments in my life. They have not made me a great person. Doing my daily tasks, day by day, week by week and year by year are the ways I attempt to be a hero. It is said, whoever is too big of the small things is too small for the big things. Keep on doing the important small things and big rewards will come your way. The magic of life is being faithful daily in the mundane. The mountain-top moments will take care of themselves.

Have a Good Attitude:

Ouch..I’m still working on this one! How do I work on this? The moment my little girl kitty starts her VERY early daily sweet meows between 4:30 and 6:30 AM, I cover my eyes and pray the Shema. Then I take moments of prayer and meditation before any thoughts of the day creep into my morning consciousness.

Then I rise and listen to meditations on my phone app. I listed to specific readings for a few minutes and then I dress and feed our two little furry boo boos. I continue listening and readings until I am done. My attitude for the day is now set.

What I find is that the dark thoughts, negative thoughts of the day have not been able to get to me. I have filled my mind with peace, positive reflections, and life and light. I usually sit at my desk for a bit and plan my day and check in early for my workday.

When negative thoughts and bad self-talk tries to get ahold of me, I am already full of light and meditation, and I’m then on to listening to a book on Audible and my mind is fully engaged in a positive way for the day.

This keeps me from having morning darkness, morning blues, morning worries.

As for my attitude, my daily morning practice keeps me in a chosen mind set for each day.

I struggle with my thoughts and self-talk. I keep my mind full of positive sayings and I keep my filled with as much light as I can. Since I have had this practice in my life, my quality of life has improved. I don’t expect every day to be super fantastic, I don’t expect to run through the “finish line” each day, but I do plan to be reliable, faithful, encouraging to others, and a mentor to anyone I am sent to. I’m still in the race to win every day.

As for my dreams, they then seem to glide and float on the wings of my determination, dedication, and good attitude. It’s much easier to keep a dream alive when we feel positive inside and we have some joy in our hearts.

If you are going through a rough time while you are reading this, I have a message for you. It will get better. It may not seem like it right now, but it will get better, and it does!

Dream, dream, dream all you want. Dream for the moon and the stars. Dream for everything you want and desire. The magic of making this happen is to always live a life that helps and enables others to visualize and realize their own dreams.

Thank you for reading and Keep on Dancing!
